Mommys sweet smile shows up this morning on my phone 📱 I feel her hugs 🥰 with me when ever the memories come on !!! 💞💞💞💞💞😘💛. Her spring wheelchair 🦼 Quilt I made her last year !   Her smile approval is there !!!   Pics 2023. ❤️🫶

I loved Chelsea’s place where mommy lived the last two years  on every door  there was the photo of them in there younger years and shared what there ten face facts about them growing up !!!   It was great way to get to know all the residents and ways how to talk to them !!”  Mommy would always get jelous of me talking with her other friends I always made sure I made her feel important first !!!    Mom would always tell me shhhh Carrie don’t get involved !!! 😃🤷‍♀️🤣🤣🤣      Now I know why she says that she wanted me all to herself !   I don’t blame her for that made me giggle 🤭 when I think of it now !    I told mommy  you told me to help others when I see them struggle !   She says to me  “ I did say that !!”  I say yes mommy you teach  me well !!! 

I got to know everyone there  we were all one family 

The staff loved mommy so much  I really could tell that several people truly love there jobs  as a caregiver!” 

One day the staff had a meeting  and I was there I asked the manager if I can thank all of them for what hard work they do and we do notice  there true love for our love once’s !!!   💐💐  

I started making quilts for all the residents in Mommys side where she lived !   I had two other quilters out of state friends who wanted to join in voluntarily  make quilts they would mail them too me and Hubby and I walked them in passed them out to each residents !!!   It was a beautiful 🤩 experience !”     Got pics with each resident with the quilts “   

Family’s were moved that we did this “ God was leading me to do this huge tasks and we did the year 2023 

I wanted to honor mommy she is the one who raised me by herself  and taught me how to Quilt !  When I was so sick I was born with heart disease 🦠 and had to be on disability!”   

That was the hardest when I loved teaching preschooler’s.  I loved working full time so months passed and mommy says let’s try quilting !!”  

That’s how our friendship grew !!!  

 We went to quilting guilds 

Quilt shop hops! 

We went to quilt shows !!! 

That’s how mommy and I traveled !  lol 

This quilt below ⬇️ the blue and pink log cabin Quilts I made onne for mommy she loved all shades of blues !!!!  I made for her 75 birthday !!! 

Her smile says it all warms my heart !!!💙💙💙💙

This smaller Hour glass Quilt I made for her wheelchair Quilt to keep her warm she was always chilly ! And her hands were always cold “.
