Barn Life Quilt!! πŸ„πŸ„






I'm thrilled to have received these fabrics and can't wait to start working on this new pattern, a 32 by 47 sweet wallhanging. It's my first time tackling this design,  ny another artist !  


I'm excited to see it come together. The finished piece will be a lovely reminder of my roots in Nebraska's Ord, where I grew up, and my connection to Rob, who spent his childhood in Kansas as a farm boy.

Heart ❤️ & Lung 🫁 follow up!




Praise shout !!!  

Hi everyone, I hope your week is going well. We've had a busy week here, with multiple appointments, aunt Vickie has been supper auntie taking me too all of them ! We love our time together too !!! 



including physical therapy and two hospital visits. The great news is that my heart condition is only affecting the lower left chamber, which is a huge relief. My pray thst my new medication will improve it over time!! be effective, and I'm grateful for that. To ensure my safety and the safety of others, my doctors have advised against driving for now, as my medication can cause low blood pressure and interact with my low sugar levels. 

My blood pressure was much better when we got home! 

While this was unexpected, I'm trying to stay positive and focus on my recovery. I'm learning to rely on others for support, which isn't easy for me, but I understand it's necessary. I've been feeling more at peace about not driving, and I appreciate the prayers and support from others. 




On a separate note, I'm thrilled to share that my A1c levels have improved significantly, from 7.6 in just three weeks, with no spikes. Hardly needed insulin  i believe it’s my recipes!!   My provider is pleased with my progress, and I'm looking forward to my next appointment in November. Thank you, Jesus. 😍😍😍

Sunflowers 🌻 in July !!!



How’s every one doing this weekend !? 
It’s been a blessed weekend for us.  I'm grateful to have hubs home on the weekend !!  I am do thankful for Aunt Vickie is taking me to my follow-up appointments always at UCH tomorrow. It’s been one week of my heart medication !! πŸŒΌπŸŒΌπŸŒΌπŸŒΌπŸ™. The journey has been a roller coaster ride! πŸ₯ΉπŸŒΌ.  My body is still adjusting; some days I'm so weak I can barely sew. 🧡 It’s hard to believe my heart is only functioning at 10%. I'm amazed by God's strength and ability to help me accomplish all that He has planned for me πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ™.  Thank you, Jesus, for giving me new life each days!  I pray my labs look great tomorrow !!!

Another yummy salmon 🍣 recipe !!






Cooking a healthy meal for my husband and me is a breeze, thanks to my creative approach to low-salt and low-sugar intake.   I sucsesfully prepared a medley of grain rice, steamed broccoli, and cauliflower rice,  by sautΓ©ed veggies and pan-seared salmon, all while keeping a close eye on my sugar and sodium levels. The result was a truly satisfying lunch that my husband loved so much he went back for seconds! As a heart patient, & diabetic patient  I'm thrilled to report that my sugar and sodium levels remained in check, leaving me feeling empowered and motivated to continue making healthy choices.   All portion sizes control !  πŸ˜˜πŸ€©πŸ€©πŸ€©πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ sodium serving size 236 mg πŸ™‚. Healthy protein egg πŸ₯š muffins !!!

 First try at my egg muffins !!!!!    




Happy Sunday Blessings everyone !!  Lately, Auntie Vickie and I have been divinely inspired to plan and discuss creating muffin meals that are light, healthy and tailored to my medical diet needs, and tomorrow I'm looking forward to preparing meals that I can simply warm up, as meal prepping is a new and exciting venture for me !! 🌼🌼🌼🌼 My recipe !  Step one: 

1) Grease your muffin pan with butter 🧈 2) Preheat the oven to 350*. 3) Chop your baby spinach or kale πŸ₯¬ 4) Cook your bacon, πŸ₯“ then dice it. 5) Place turkey and cottage cheese  on top Idded fiesta cheese πŸ§€  !!    a  in each muffin space ! 6) In a bowl πŸ₯£ mix eggs πŸ₯š with unsweetened milk. Assemble each muffin space, then pour the egg πŸ₯š mixture on top !  Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, and the result is incredibly moist !!!!

Hubby can grab a light breakfast  whem he comes in the morning!!!
