I spent a peaceful Sunday, filled with worship and quality time with Faith and Family, savoring every moment of butter squash and BBQ chicken wings, a delightful treat Rob and I truly enjoyed! Mommy's cooking was always a highlight, spoiling me with her signature butter squash dish,
a favorite of mine, and she certainly knew how to make me feel loved lol π. Following a recipe, I creatively combined both sauces, adding a splash of water to perfection, ensuring the wings were covered. With my dietary goals in mind, I opted for portion control, knowing that moderation is key, even when faced with the sodium and sugar content in Mr. Spice.
For the butternut & Cinnamon squash with a drizzle of olive oil, alternative Monk Fruit sugar, and a sprinkle of cinnamon brought forth cherished memories of mommy's cooking, making every bite a celebration of love and nourishment. Baking at 350 degrees for 45 minutes yielded the perfect result, to the joy of savoring each bite! Let’s see how my BS after two hours!
