The last 6 years has been very difficult for all of us! My sweet mommy started with depression shortly after she retired 2003. for a long time, she started to back out of holiday family dinners. and stopped going to church after a while. Believe me she loves her church family. but after 2003 she had cancer and Kemo & radiation! it zapped her energy and depression grew" so we all as a family supported one another through that difficult time. I met some sweet Christian. neighbors near buy who came over a lot to pray with us and for momma. the cancer she had was called anal cancer.
For a long time, she lost all her muscles so it was hard to leave the house she would have to bring extra clothes with her! it was so difficult on both of us so a lot of the times we stayed homeward bound!!"
2001 I went to visit my father long story short he came to the states to see us!! with his two girls and wife he invited me to stay with them in Brazil for a month! yes, he is Brazilian. so, during that whole time their mommy never told me about her cancer she didn't want me to worry! Lindsay my sweet cousin took momma to all her Kemo radiation treatments and cared for her that month!
our neighbors that came over I remember their names Sally & Joseph! one day when mom's appointment we had the best news it her cancer was in remission!! Praise Jesus! mommy was doing better she was growing her hair back and found a beautiful wig. Sally had told me one day on our walks that the Lord told her the cancer will never return !!! and year after year in follow up appointments it surely never had returned!!
Mommy & I did make it back to our church family with lots of hugs and tears of joy." till this day Jesus healed her with that cancer!
The doctors told me I wasn't going to make it! So in the waiting room, Mommy prayed for me She gave her life to Jesus she told Jesus I was His whether I lived or not liced! What a sacradiced prayer!! Mommy was so strong 💪 I met Jesus at a very young life with my near-death experience in Washington DC Children's Hospital”
Mommy was there for my every surgery and every procedure mommy was there for me no matter what!
We were always so close I moved out maybe three times in my adult life and came back home 🏡 to be with mommy because of life circumstances!
We moved to Colorado to be closer to family in 1984. I was age 7 here! My mom made this sweet jumper dress and my knee-high socks! 😄😂
Mommy raised me all herself with family love behind her!
Momma was super independent and worked for the Department of Defense for many years and traveled while working!!
Mommy for to start out in Rio de Janeiro Brazil that was her first job post ! 🇧🇷! Went to Nigeria 🇳🇬 Taipei Taiwan Taipei 🇹🇼 and Africa!
Mommy was in in Taipei Taipei Taiwan 🇹🇼 living there while working!
So the we loved living here in Colorado all these years!!! We grew up here with cousins and moms and sister! “
We love itis even now! Always good to be close to family!
